SERVICES: Rosary will be at 7:00 PM Thursday, Jan. 15, 2004 at Carmichael-Whatley Colonial Chapel in Pampa. Mass will be at 11:00 AM Friday, Jan. 16, 2004 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in White Deer with Msgr. Kevin Hand, pastor, officiating.BURIAL: Sacred Heart Cemetery in White Deer under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors of Pampa.BIOGRAPHY: Mr. Urbanczyk was born on March 29, 1917 in White Deer where he had been a lifelong resident. He married Collene Heying on Aug. 19, 1950. She preceded him in death on Nov. 12, 1998. Mr. Urbanczyk was a longtime farmer and rancher in Carson County and owned a boat and marine store in White Deer for several years. He and his brother, Henry, were co-owners of Grand Petroleum in Pampa for many years before his retirement. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in White Deer, and he was an avid hunter and fisherman. He was a veteran of the U. S. Army during World War II, attaining the rank of sergeant, and serving at the Battle of the Bulge.SURVIVORS: 1 daughter: Jaqueta Urbanczyk of Amarillo; 1 son: Rocky Urbanczyk and wife Brenda of Plano; 2 brothers: Henry Urbanczyk of Groom and Will Urbanczyk of White Deer; 1 grandson: Layne Urbanczyk of Plano.MEMORIALS: BSA Hospice, 800 N.
