SERVICES: 10:00 AM Monday, January 12, 2004, at Carmichael-Whatley Colonial Chapel, with Rev. Fred Palmer of the Carpenter's Church, officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors. BIOGRAPHY: Mrs. Parks was born July 13, 1940 in Mount Pleasant, Michigan. She married Raymond Parks on July 19, 1958 in Alma, Michigan. She had been a resident of Pampa since 1984, moving from Coldwater, Michigan. She was a nurse's aide for 5 years, working for the Auxiliary Nursing Service.SURVIVORS: Husband: Raymond Parks of the home. 1 Son: Scott Parks of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. 3 Daughters: Debra Parks of Pampa, Michelle Cole and Valerie Peterson, both of Marlin. 6 Brothers: David Smillie of Livingston, James Smillie of Pensacola, Florida, Steven Smillie of Three Rivers, Michigan, Brad Smillie of Pampa, Donald Wheeler of Indian River, Michigan and Robert Wheeler, of Mount Pleasant, Michigan. 5 Sisters: Ruth Ann Hutchinson of Reed City, Michigan, Linda Dice of Pensacola, Florida, Kimberly Brenaman of Coldwater, Michigan, Sonya Blanchard of Chase, Michigan, and Cindy Warzak of Stanwood, Michigan. 16 Grandchildren, 10 Great-Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by 2 sons, Mark Parks in January of 1998 and Bart Parks in March of 2000, and 1 daughter, Cathaline Kreger in August of 2002.MEMORIALS: Feed The Children, P.O.
