SERVICES: Graveside services will be at 2:00 PM Wednesday, January 7, 2004, at Memory Gardens Cemetery, with Rev. Kyle Ohsfeldt, pastor of Grace Baptist Church, officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.BIOGRAPHY: Mrs. Prater was born February 12, 1920 in Hillsboro, Texas. She married Jack Charles Prater on September 6, 1937 in Hedrick, Oklahoma. He preceded her in death in 1987. She had been a resident of Pampa since 1942, moving to Azle several years ago. She was a nurse's aide at Highland General Hospital and Pampa Nursing Center. She was a member of the Grace Baptist Church.SURVIVORS: 1 Son: Burley Prater & wife Joyce of Pampa. 1 Daughter: Lavonda Gamage & husband Ed of Fort Worth. 1 Grandson: Elton Gamage of Fort Worth. 3 Great-Grandchildren: Courtney Gamage, Elton Burley Gamage and Brittany Gamage, all of Fort Worth.
