SERVICES: 2:00 PM Friday, Dec. 26, 2003, in Carmichael-Whatley Colonial Chapel with Rev. Carl Novian, associate pastor of First Baptist Church, officiating.BURIAL: Graveside services will be at 2:00 PM Saturday, Dec. 27, 2003 at Holdenville Cemetery in Holdenville, Oklahoma, with Scott Sullivan, youth minister of the Holdenville First Baptist Church, officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.BIOGRAPHY: Mrs. Parsons was born Feb. 14, 1909 at Pear Valley, Texas and was reared at Calvin, Oklahoma. She was a graduate of East Central University in Ada, Oklahoma. She married Roy L. Parsons on July 8, 1930 at Holdenville, Oklahoma. He preceded her in death in 1958. She was a schoolteacher for many years, and she was also a designer for Edna Looney Products for 16 years. She was a resident of Pampa since 1993 and was a member of First Baptist Church.SURVIVORS: 1 daughter: Georgia L. Smith of Pampa; 1 son: Noel Parsons of Lubbock; 1 sister: Elena Mae King of Tyler; 4 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Lloyd Atkinson and Clifton Atkinson, and by 1 sister, Jimmie Marie Atkinson.MEMORIALS: First Baptist Church, 203 N. West, Pampa, TX 79065.
