SERVICES: 2:00 PM Tuesday, December 23, 2003, at the Buie Funeral Home Chapel in Rison, Arkansas, with Rev. Jim Tollison, pastor of the Bethel Missionary Baptist Church, officiating. BURIAL: Prosperity Cemetery in Herbine, Arkansas under the direction of Buie Funeral Home. Local arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors of Pampa, Texas. BIOGRAPHY: Mrs. Harvill was born July 24, 1916 in Cleveland, Arkansas. She married George Harvill on October 27, 1947 at Pine Bluff, Arkansas. He preceded her in death in 1965. She attended the Assembly of God Church. She had been a longtime resident of White Deer.SURVIVORS: 2 Sons: Doyle Harvill of Pampa, Texas, and Joseph David Harvill of Dallas, Texas. 1 Sister: Sybil Pendleton of El Paso, Texas. 8 Grandchildren, 4 Great-Grandchildren.Special Notice: The body will lie in state at Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Home from 9:00 AM Saturday until 5:00 PM Sunday.
