Gary Steward of the Salvation Army, officiating.BURIAL: Memory Gardens Cemetery under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.BIOGRAPHY: Mr. Counts was born October 4, 1930 in Dill City, Oklahoma. He had been a resident of Pampa since 1955. He worked for Cabot & IRI for 40 years as a welder, retiring in 1997. He married Mary Matney on January 24, 1960 in Borger. He was a very active member of the Moose Lodge #1385, and was a member of the Fellowship Baptist Church. He was a veteran of the U. S. Navy.SURVIVORS: Wife: Mary Counts of the home. 2 Sons: Steven Ray Counts and Gregory Lee Counts, both of Pampa. 1 Sister: Sue Kunkel of Saratoga, Florida. 1 Brother: Glen Counts of Point, California.
