SERVICES: Memorial services will be at 10:00 AM Saturday, December 13, 2003, at the Canyons Retirement Community, 2200 W. 7th in Amarillo, with Rev. Dennis Westover, chaplain, officiating. Arrangements and cremation are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors of Pampa. BIOGRAPHY: Mrs. Johnson was born May 8, 1910 in Caddo, Oklahoma. She had been a resident of Pampa from 1934 until moving to Amarillo in 1996. She received her bachelors and masters degrees from West Texas State University in Canyon. She taught 1st and 2nd grades in Pampa schools and taught at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic School in Pampa. She married Jarvis Johnson in 1932 in Hollis, Oklahoma. He preceded her in death on September 10, 1994. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Pampa.SURVIVORS: 1 Son: Morris Johnson of Pampa. 2 Daughters-in-Law: Bertha Johnson of Pampa and Pat Johnson of Dallas. 3 Grandchildren. Several nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by 2 sons, Jarvis Johnson, Jr., in 1993 and John Johnson in 1999, and by a daughter, Jarvine Johnson in 1934. MEMORIALS: BSA Hospice, 800 N.
