SERVICES: Vigil services will be 6:00 PM Monday at Carmichael-Whatley Colonial Chapel. Funeral Mass will be 2:00 PM Tuesday at St. Vincent dePaul Catholic Church with Rev. David Contreras officiating.BURIAL: Memory Gardens Cemetery under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.BIOGRAPHY: Ms. Matheu was called home to the loving and forgiving embrace of our Lord on Sunday, November 30, 2003. She was born Oct. 23, 1922 at Mobeetie and was a 1941 graduate of Mobeetie High School. She attended Blackwood Business College and graduated from St. Joseph's School of Nursing in 1950. She enlisted in the U. S. Air Force and was stationed in Germany from 1954 to 1956 as a R. N. She was discharged as a 1st lieutenant. After the Air Force she settled in Pennsylvania with the father of her three children, returning to Pampa in 1969. She was a R. N. at Highland General Hospital until 1974. She was Director of Nursing at Collingsworth General Hospital from 1974 to 1977. She married Prisco Matheu in 1975 at Wellington. He preceded her in death in 1998. She retired from nursing in 1982 and was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by her parents Frank and Lola Haynes and 2 special friends Elizabeth Houdashell and Rita "Ippy" Kubichek.SURVIVORS: 2 sons: David Inghram of Amarillo and Craig Inghram of Newnan, GA. 1 daughter: Annetta Tewes of Gun Barrel City, TX. 2 sisters: Wauline Reynolds and Glorice Jones both of Pampa. 2 brothers: Walden Haynes and Dale Haynes both of Pampa. 8 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
