Jacob Clemmens, rector, officiating.BURIAL: Fairview Cemetery under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.BIOGRAPHY: Mrs. Conway, a longtime resident of Pampa, was born on October 23, 1913 in Muldrow, Oklahoma. After living in several different cities, she moved with her family to Pampa in 1953, where she lived happily until advancing age necessitated a move to Austin in 2002 to live with her daughter. During her many years in Pampa, she often remarked how much this city was the home that she had always wanted. She was an active member of the parish family of St. Matthew's Episcopal Church. Most of her working years were with Panhandle Industrial, where she was employed in the finance and bookkeeping department. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Frederic B. Collett, who died in 1959, and by her second husband, Abner D. Conway, who died in 1986.SURVIVORS: 2 sons: George Collett and wife Joyce of Houston, and Robert Collett and wife Sue of Seattle, Washington; 1 daughter: Patricia Hoskins and husband Charles of Austin. She leaves 2 Conway sons, Bill and Mike, and Mike's wife, Lavada. A third Conway son, Bob, died earlier this year. Completing this very large and much blessed family are 13 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, and a soon-to-arrive 17th great grandchild and a first great-great grandchild.MEMORIALS: In lieu of flowers, the family requests that those wishing to make a memorial gift do so to the charity of their choice, to the American Lung Association, the Susan B. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, or to St. Matthew's Episcopal Church.SPECIAL NOTICE: The family will receive friends from 6:00-7:30 PM Friday at the funeral home. The family will also be at St. Matthew's Parish Hall on Saturday at 9:00 AM to greet Pat's friends.
