Jim Fox, pastor of Hillcrest Baptist Church of Amarillo, officiating.BURIAL: White Deer Cemetery under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors. BIOGRAPHY: Mr. Patton was born January 12, 1925 at Mobeetie. He married Jean Patton on September 2, 1949 at Groom. She preceded him in death in 1999. He was a veteran of the U. S. Army from 1942 until 1945. He had been a resident of Pampa since 1946. He was the owner and operator of Circulation Incorporated, Rocky Mountain Tank Company, and co-owner of Patton & Patton. He was a member of the Hobart Baptist Church.SURVIVORS: 1 Daughter: Connie Hutcherson & husband Boyd of Pampa. 2 Granddaughters: Jamie Groomer & husband Stephen, and Lori Giles & husband Chadd, all of Pampa. 5 Great-Grandchildren: Taylor Giles, Kaylea Giles, Jarren Giles, Jarrod Groomer and Nolan Groomer. 4 Sisters: Claudia Phillips, Betty McKay, Lovella Hollingsworth, and Iweta Johnson, all of Amarillo. 4 Brothers: Leroy Patton of Yukon, Oklahoma, Clyde Patton of Belton, George Patton of Salem, Virginia, and Bob Patton of Carthage.
