SERVICES: 2:30 PM Wednesday, November 26, 2003, at Carmichael-Whatley Colonial Chapel, with Elder Buddy Reed of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, officiating. BURIAL: Memory Gardens Cemetery under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors. BIOGRAPHY: Mrs. Evans was born October 7, 1910 in Gageby, Texas. She married Nathan Evans on January 30, 1930 in Wheeler. He preceded her in death on April 24, 1966. She had been a resident of Pampa since 1953. She was a homemaker and a Jehovah's Witness. SURVIVORS: 3 Daughters: Alene George of Pampa, Nathetta Olsen of Boulder, Colorado, and Mary Sandlin of Priddy. 3 Sisters: Eunice Seay of Canyon, Ida Mae Sinclair of Amarillo, and Susie Rhoades of Sulphur Springs. 16 Grandchildren, 20 Great-Grandchildren, 9 Great-Great-Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by 1 daughter, Joyce Cornell, 2 great-grandchildren, 4 sisters, Lorene Lawrence, Melba McCormick, Irene Walker and Augusta Reynolds, and 2 brothers, Willard Strawbridge and Charlie Strawbridge.MEMORIALS: BSA Hospice, 800 N.
