SERVICES: 2:00 PM Friday, November 14, 2003 at the First Baptist Church of Mobeetie, with Rev. Ray OQuin, a Baptist minister, and Rev. Lewis Ellis, a retired Baptist minister, officiating.BURIAL: Mobeetie Cemetery under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors of Pampa. BIOGRAPHY: Mrs. Trout was born October 25, 1920 in Mobeetie where she had been a lifelong resident. She married Albert Trout on July 22, 1939 in Pampa. He preceded her in death on April 8, 1991. She farmed and ranched with her husband for many years. She worked at the Mobeetie Grocery Store for 22 years and worked in the Mobeetie School Cafeteria for 9 years. She was affectionately known as "Gran Gran." She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Mobeetie.SURVIVORS: 3 Daughters: Carol McGee, Judy Watts and husband Richie, all of De Leon, Marolyn OQuin and husband Ray of Pampa. 2 Sons: Dewayne Trout and wife Anita of Amarillo, and Lonnie Trout and wife Sandra of Miami. 3 Sisters: Frances Sclusky of South Charlestown, New Hampshire, Dortha Beck of Lefors, and Jimmie McBain of Columbia, Missouri. 12 Grandchildren, 16 Great-Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, John Bradley Trout on August 22, 1965.MEMORIALS: Crown of Texas Hospice, 1000 S. Jefferson, Amarillo, Texas 79101, or a favorite charity.
