SERVICES: 9:00 AM Monday, October 27, 2003, at St. Paul United Methodist Church, with Rev. Jim Teeter, pastor of the Bruce Memorial United Methodist Church of Blevins, Arkansas, and Rev. John Westman, pastor of St. Paul United Methodist Church, officiating.BURIAL: Graveside services will be at 3:00 PM Monday, October 27, 2003, at the Big Valley Cemetery between Quanah and Chillicothe in Hardeman County. Arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors. BIOGRAPHY: Mrs. Butler was born January 27, 1918 at White City, Texas, in Wilbarger County. She married Rev. Oland Butler on December 21, 1936 in Medicine Mound, Texas. He preceded her in death in 1992. During their marriage, she served as a minister's wife of the Northwest Texas Conference of the United Methodist Church. She had been a resident of Pampa for about a year, moving from Chillicothe.SURVIVORS: 2 Sons: Stanley Butler of Pampa and Wayne Butler of Oark, Arkansas. 6 Brothers: Cecil Box, Owen Box, Wayne Box, Boyd Box, Keith Box, and Gordon Box. 7 Grandchildren and 13 Great-Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Oland M. Butler, Jr., and a grandson, Randall Scott Butler.MEMORIALS: St. Paul United Methodist Church, 511 N. Hobart, Pampa, Texas 79065.
