SERVICES: 2:00 PM Tuesday at Zion Lutheran Church in Pampa with the Rev. Michael Erickson officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.BIOGRAPHY: Born July 22, 1944 at Durant, Oklahoma. He had been a resident of Pampa for 27 years. He married Donna Freeman on October 1, 1966 at Clayton, New Mexico. He worked for Pioneer Natural Gas for 27 years. He owned and operated the Eagle Radiator Shop since 1994. He was a veteran of the U. S. Army, serving during the Vietnam War. He was a member of the Zion Lutheran Church.SURVIVORS: Wife: Donna of the home. 2 Sons: Eric Shipman and James Shipman, both of Pampa. 6 Brothers: Zearl Shipman of Amarillo, Alvin Shipman and Calvin Shipman, both of Durant, Oklahoma, Don Shipman of Denison, James Shipman of Greenville, and Carl Ray Shipman of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. 1 Sister: Eveline Downs of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. 1 Granddaughter: Ashley Shipman of Pampa.
