Darrell Rex Courter

BIOGRAPHY: Born September 1, 1939 in Arkansas City, Kansas. He had been a resident of Pampa since 1980. He married Cletis Hukill on April 6, 1982 in Sayre, Oklahoma. She preceded him in death on June 9, 2002. He worked as a field operator for Phillips Petroleum for 23 years, retiring in 2002. He was a veteran of the U. S. Navy, serving during peacetime. He was a member of the Mary Ellen & Harvester Church of Christ.SURVIVORS: 1 Son: Craig Courter & wife Donna of Pampa. 1 Daughter: Cara Pilch and husband Michael of Liberty, Kansas. 1 Brother: Don Courter of Plano. 6 Grandchildren. 1 Step-Daughter: Katrina Middleton of Houston. 4 Step-Sons: Tom Hollis of Amarillo, Johnny Wilsher of Carlsbad, New Mexico, Norman Wilsher of Idaho, and J. R. Hollis of Pampa. 17 Step-Grandchildren and 2 Step-Great-Grandchildren.
