He was a lifelong resident of Pampa, graduating from Pampa High School in 1948. He graduated from Palmer Chiropractic College in Davenport, IA, and practiced chiropractic in Ardmore, Oklahoma for a brief time. He married Betty J. Mudd on February 2, 1957 in Davenport, IA. He was employed by American National Insurance Company for 24 years as a staff manager. He was a 43-year member of St. Paul United Methodist Church. He was a veteran of the U. S. Air Force, serving during the Korean Conflict. SURVIVORS: Wife: Betty of the home. 3 Daughters: Sharyn Bailey & husband Jerry of Pantego, Carole Wisdom of Carlsbad, CA, and Pandora Gargus of Spiro, OK. 2 Sons: Dan Tucker & wife Brenda of Pampa, and Randy Tucker & wife Lisa of W. Windsor, NJ. 2 Brothers: Denver Tucker of Pampa, and Dale Tucker of Mabelvale, AR. 1 Sister: Bernadine Middleton of Friendswood. 7 Grandchildren and 1 Great-Grandchild.
