SERVICES: Graveside services will be at 2:00 PM Monday, September 29, 2003, at Memory Gardens Cemetery with Rev. Rick Parnell, associate pastor of Central Baptist Church, officiating. Arrangements are by Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.BIOGRAPHY: Mr. Haynes was born April 1, 1933 at Chester, Oklahoma, to Erma & Horace Haynes. He had been a resident of Pampa in the early 1950?s until he joined the U. S. Army, where he served as an electrician and military police in the Korean Conflict from 1953 until 1961. He owned and operated Haynes Engine Service in Hobbs, New Mexico, later moving to Loving, New Mexico, and retiring in 1997. He returned to Pampa in May of 2003 to be with his niece Ken McGuire and family. He was a Baptist. He enjoyed being a pilot, hunting and fishing. SURVIVORS: 3 Sisters: Alma Edmiston of Pampa, Danzel Stokes of Odessa, and Joy Money of Clearwater, Florida. 2 Brothers: Frank Haynes of Pampa, and Ode Haynes of California. Several nieces & nephews, including: Dale Haynes, Ronnie Haynes, Shelley Dyer and Ken McGuire. He was preceded in death by his parents, 3 brothers Russell Haynes, Don Haynes & Nate Haynes, and 1 sister Ruth Klyce. MEMORIALS: BSA Hospice, 800 N.
