Arrangements are by Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.BIOGRAPHY: Mr. Stone was born February 13, 1937 at Seminole, Oklahoma. He graduated from Plainville High School at Plainville, Kansas in 1955. He married Elsie Carlson on November 29, 1958 at Kimball, Nebraska. He had been a resident of Pampa since the 1960?s. He worked for Cabot Corporation and Cities Service. He worked for Occidental Petroleum as a pumper from 1968 until retiring in 1993. He was a Baptist.SURVIVORS: Wife: Elsie of the home. 3 Sons: James Stone of Pampa, John Stone of Lubbock, and Charles Stone of San Antonio. Mother: Hallie Stone of White Deer. 2 Brothers: Gaylord Stone of Amarillo, and Owen Stone of Wyoming. 1 Sister: Irene Poland of White Deer. 4 Grandchildren, 2 Great-Grandsons.MEMORIALS: Crown of Texas Hospice, 1000 S.
