SERVICES: Private graveside services will be at Fairview Cemetery, with Dr. Edwin Cooley, pastor of the First Presbyterian Church, officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.BIOGRAPHY: Mr. Baker was born October 20, 1905 in Amarillo. He graduated from Texas A & M University in 1927, and was a member of the Association of Former Students. He had been a resident of Pampa since 1935. He married Velma Brecheen on April 7, 1934 in Amarillo. She preceded him in death on July 17, 1980. He was a vice-president of Cabot Corporation in Pampa, retiring after 29 years of service. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Amarillo.SURVIVORS: 1 Daughter: Kay House of Carmel, California. 1 Son: Jay Baker of California. 1 Daughter-in-Law: Sandra Baker of California. 4 Grandsons: Brad Dick of Rome, Italy, Evan Dick of California, Christopher Baker of Colorado, and Tom Morris of New Mexico. 1 Granddaughter: Melinda Ryan of Colorado. 6 Great-Grandchildren.
