BURIAL: Miami Cemetery under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.BIOGRAPHY: Mr. South was born on February 26, 1917 at Lawton OK. He married Leona Sikes on May 10, 1940 at Perryton. She preceded him in death on February 7, 2002. He was a rancher in the Miami area since 1938. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Miami.SURVIVORS: 2 sons: John Hubert South of Azle and Lloyd Wayne South of Graford, TX. 1 foster son: Mickey Easley of Miami. 1 sister: Juanita Nance of Plano. 1 brother: A. L. South of Yukon, OK. 8 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Preceded in death by one son: James Felton South and one grandson: Justin Kelly South. MEMORIALS: Hemphill Co.
