SERVICES: will be at 2:00 PM, Monday, at Carmichael-Whatley Colonial Chapel, with Elder Steve Porter, a Primitive Baptist minister and Lester Lynch, of the Freewill Baptist Church officiating. BURIAL: will be at Memory Gardens Cemetery under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.BIOGRAPHY: Mr. Loter was born March 23, 1910 at Childress, Texas. He had farmed in Childress and Hale County until 1976 when he retired and moved to Pampa. He was an avid fisherman and gardener. Married to Pauline Bonds for over 70 years, and they were married on Oct. 20, 1932 at Hollis, Okla. He was a member of the Wells St. Church of Christ.SURVIVORS: Wife Pauline of the home; 2 daughters: Eloise Dowlen of Pampa, and Merilyn and husband Jim Howell of Pampa; 2 sons: Ronnie and wife Wetia Loter , and Lonnie and wife Ann of Pampa. 7 grandsons: Keith Dowlen of Round Rock, Mike Dowlen of Pampa, Glynn Dowlen of Amarillo, Barry Dowlen of Amarillo, Kelly Loter of Dallas, Trent Loter of Pampa, Lance Howell of Las Vegas, NV. 3 granddaughters: Shannon Loter of Pampa, Amy Chapman of Amarillo, Stacy Loter of Dallas, 9 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild.MEMORIALS: May be made to Pampa Special Olympics or to a favorite charity.
