SERVICES: 10:00 AM Friday, September 12, 2003, at Carmichael-Whatley Colonial Chapel, with Dr. Edwin Cooley, pastor of the First Presbyterian Church, officiating.BURIAL: Fairview Cemetery under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors. BIOGRAPHY: Mr. Clements was born March 27, 1927 at O'Donnell, Texas to Bob & Ruth Clements. He was a graduate of White Deer High School and attended Texas Tech University on a basketball scholarship. He married Leatrice Ann Wills on February 7, 1946 in Pampa. She preceded him in death on April 4, 1995. He was employed in commercial and residential real estate for 30 years in Texas, Oklahoma and New Mexico. He resided in Lawton, Oklahoma from 1966 until 1989. In 1989, he returned to Pampa and to the family business, Bob Clements Dry Cleaning, which he co-owned and operated until his retirement in 1998. He was a member of the First Baptist Church and the Everyman's Bible Class. He was a member of the Pampa Masonic Lodge #966 AF & AM. He was a veteran of the U. S. Navy, serving as a pharmacist mate during World War II. Over his lifetime, he enjoyed fishing and bird hunting. His family and friends will miss his reassuring manner and warm sense of humor. He was preceded in death by his parents. SURVIVORS: 1 Son: Rob Clements and wife Diana of Carlsbad, New Mexico. 1 Sister: Bobbye Downs and husband Bill of Pampa. Twin granddaughters: Crista Clements and Mandy Clements, both of Carlsbad, New Mexico.MEMORIALS: BSA Hospice, 800 N. Sumner, Pampa, Texas 79065.
