SERVICES: Graveside services will be at 2:00 PM Monday, September 8, 2003, at Fairview Cemetery, with Elder Steve Porter of the Primitive Baptist Church, officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors. BIOGRAPHY: Mr. Reeves was born August 18, 1909 in Glasscott County, Texas. He attended Celeste High School. He moved to Wichita Falls in 1925 and worked for Albracht Transfer Co. He married Maureen Allred in 1927. She preceded him in death in 1947. He moved to Pampa in 1932. He worked for the Dr. Pepper Bottling Company, was a butcher at Piggly Wiggly Grocery Store, worked in the body shop at Culberson-Smalling Chevrolet. He owned a dairy from the early 1940's until the 1950's, and worked as a heavy equipment operator, retiring in the early 1980's. He was a member of Highland Baptist Church. SURVIVORS: 2 Sons: B. B. Reeves & wife LaJona, and Roy Parr & wife Cherie, all of Pampa. 1 Daughter: Juanita Reeves of Denton. 1 Brother: James Reeves & wife Dora of Pampa. 10 Grandchildren, several great-grandchildren. Numerous nieces & nephews, including 2 nieces: Brenda Donelson & Linda Austin, both of Pampa. He was preceded in death by a son Wayne Parr in 2003, a daughter Quime Reeves, a brother Billy Ray Reeves, and 3 sisters Nell Kaps, Jesse Willis-Biggers, and Dorothy Sanders.MEMORIALS: Pampa Senior Citizens Center, 500 W.
