SERVICES: The body was cremated and is unavailable for viewing. Memorial services will be at 10:00 AM Saturday, August 9, 2003, at the First United Methodist Church of Miami, with Rev. Don Kinder, pastor, and Rev. Billy Holland, pastor of the First Christian Church of Quanah, officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors of Pampa. <br><br>BIOGRAPHY: Mrs. Heare was born June 30, 1928 in Waynoka, Oklahoma to James & Eva White. She married Melvin McCuistion on June 1, 1945 at Pampa. Together they farmed and ranched until his death in 1996. On March 21, 1998, she married Bernie Heare and they lived in both San Rafael, California, and Miami, Texas. She was a homemaker. She was a volunteer at several nursing homes. She was active in the Eastern Star and the Supper Club. She was an active member of the First United Methodist Church of Miami, and was a former member of the First Christian Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, and 1 brother, Loren White.<br><br>She is survived by her husband, Bernie of the home; a daughter, Melinda Holland of Quanah; 2 sons, Jerry McCuistion of Austin and Jim McCuistion of Miami; 8 grandchildren, and 1 great-granddaughter. She is also survived by 3 stepdaughters; Sara Zykanov, Mary Amadio, and Nelda Braver. <br><br>MEMORIALS: First United Methodist Church of Miami.<br><br>SPECIAL NOTICE: The family is staying at 120 Summit Street in Miami.<br>
