SERVICES: 10:00 AM Monday, June 16, 2003, at the Fritch Church of Christ in Fritch with Richard Kasko, minister, and Beau Collins, family life minister, officiating.<br><br>BURIAL: Graveside services will be at 2:30 PM Monday at Fairview Cemetery in Pampa under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors. Military honors will be conferred by U. S. Army personnel from Ft. Hood, Texas.<br><br>BIOGRAPHY: Mr. Maness was born on Aug. 18, 1925 in Gray County where he has been a lifelong resident. He attended Pampa schools and was a member of the Pampa High School Class of 1944. He married Theresa Key on July 28, 1948 in Muleshoe. He was owner and operator of Archie's Aluminum Fab for the past 39 years. Mr. Maness was a member and deacon of the Fritch Church of Christ. He was a longtime board member of the Top O' Texas Rodeo Association where he served as president from 1981-1982. He was a past member of the Pampa Noon Lions Club where he served as tail twister, and he was a former scoutmaster for both Boy Scouts and Cub Scouts. He was a former board member for the Pampa High School Band and Choir Boosters. Mr. Maness was a former board member of Pampa Chamber of Commerce and was one of the founders of Pampa Crimestoppers. He was a former member of the Horace Mann PTA. A veteran of the U. S. Army during World War II, Mr. Maness served in Okinawa and Japan and received the Bronze Star. He was a member of the Pampa VFW Post.<br><br>SURVIVORS: Wife: Theresa Maness of the home; 2 sons: Randy Maness and wife Sonya of Fairfield and Raymond Maness and wife Lisa of Mesquite; 2 daughters: Jeannine Day and husband Ted of Knoxville, TN and Connie Maness of Houston; 1 brother: Troy Maness and wife Mattie Lou of Amarillo; brother-in-law and sister-in-law: Joe and Ginger Key of Magnolia; 17 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.<br><br>MEMORIALS: BSA Hospice, 800 N.
