SERVICES: Graveside services will be at 2:00 PM Friday, June 13, 2003, at Fairview Cemetery, with Rev. Doug Yates, pastor of the First Church of the Nazarene, officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.<br><br>BIOGRAPHY: Mr. Williams was born October 19, 1910 in Colorado City, Texas. He married Velta Gabriel on November 17, 1928 in Mobeetie. She preceded him in death on July 28, 1998. He had been a resident of Pampa since 1940, moving from Mobeetie. He farmed and ranched and was an original cowboy who rode horseback and worked cattle with Emmett Lefors. He began working in the oilfield in 1940, working as a painter and steamer. He worked for Windsor Well Service, Chase Oilfield Service, and Curtis Well Service, retiring in the 1980's. He also worked for Triangle Well Service and Hadley Steam Services. He received the Oilfield Pioneer Award from the Permian Basin in the late 1980's. He was a member of St. Paul United Methodist Church. <br><br>SURVIVORS: 1 Son: Raymond Williams of Kalispell, Montana. 5 Grandchildren: Kimberly Lincycomb of Pampa, Mona Statster of Wichita Falls, Kelly Moore of Florence, Montana, Dusty Williams of Montana, and Tim Williams of San Francisco, California. 6 Great-Grandchildren. 2 special friends; Sally Fick and Rachel Gunther. He was preceded in death by a son, Charles Williams, a daughter, Geraldine Lincycomb, 5 brothers and 2 sisters. <br><br>MEMORIALS: Crown of Texas Hospice, 1000 S.
