SERVICES: 10:00 AM Friday, June 6, 2003, at the First Baptist Church, with Dr. Randy White, pastor, officiating.<br><br>BURIAL: Memory Gardens Cemetery under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.<br><br>BIOGRAPHY: Mr. Tidwell was born December 4, 1919 in Hunt County, Texas. He married Geneva Welton on June 12, 1941 in Pampa. She preceded him in death on December 20, 2001. He worked for 4R Welding Supply for 42 years, retiring as store manager in 1985. He was a member of the First Baptist Church. He was a member of the Kiwanis Club for 45 years, and a member of the Top O' Texas Rodeo Board for 27 years where he served as president from 1966-1967 and 1976-1977. <br><br>SURVIVORS: 1 Son: Billy Eugene Tidwell, Jr., of Pampa. 1 Daughter: Dianne Garrett of Midland. 2 Sisters: Bessie Lee Howard and Sandra Evans, both of Hurst. 2 Brothers: Bobby Tidwell of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and Clyde Tidwell of Pampa. 5 Grandchildren, 7 Great-Grandchildren.<br><br>MEMORIALS: To a favorite charity.<br>
