Lynn Hancock, pastor of the Briarwood Full Gospel Church, officiating.<br><br>BURIAL: Fairview Cemetery under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors. <br><br>BIOGRAPHY: Mr. Kitchens was born March 6, 1912 in Gray County. He attended Pampa High School and was on the PHS Tennis Team, graduating in 1932. He married Eva Swafford on July 29, 1940. She preceded him in death on October 12, 1993. Tom and his brother Kelley both enlisted in the U. S. Navy on June 23, 1942; Tom in the Seabees and Kelley in the regular Navy. Tom served in the Aleutian Islands in 1943 and then later in Guam in the Pacific. He was discharged from the Seabees on October 7, 1945, and from that time until his death, he resided in Pampa. He was a member of the First Baptist Church. He was active in civic organizations; Jaycees, Pampa Chamber of Commerce, Highway 60 Committee, Service Station Association, and the V.F.W. He enjoyed golf and fishing.<br><br>SURVIVORS: 1 Brother: Kelley Kitchens of Borger. Nephews: Joe & Jon Kitchens of Borger, and Harold & Yvonne Scrimshire of Pampa. Niece: Paula & Jim Brashears of Pampa. Nieces & nephews in Oklahoma, Texas and Arkansas. <br><br>MEMORIALS: to a favorite charity.<br>
