SERVICES: Graveside services will be at 11:00 AM Friday, April 25, 2003, at Fairview Cemetery, with members of the family officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.<br><br>BIOGRAPHY: Mrs. Jones was born February 24, 1904 in Temple, Texas, to Virginia & Jess Bruce. She married Rufus Jones on March 4, 1920 in Estelline. They had 72 glorious years together before he passed away in November of 1992. They were blessed with two sons, Doyle Talmadge and Milford Ray of Pampa. She and Rufe moved from Plainview to Pampa in 1946 and made this their home. She was a homemaker, and the joy of her life was her family. She loved having her children and their children around her, and that was when she was the happiest. Her family and home were her whole life. She was a Baptist. She will be greatly missed by all who loved her and knew her. A special thanks to Bob Lindsey with Crown of Texas Hospice for his gentle care and touch. She was one of ten children, three brothers and six sisters, who all preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her son Doyle, one grandson Terry Jones of Panhandle, one great-grandson, Vandy Vanderburg of Pampa, and one great-great-great-grandchild. <br><br>SURVIVORS: 1 Son: Milford Jones and wife Glorice of Pampa. 6 Grandchildren: Sandy Vanderburg of Odessa, Becky Dalton, Michael Jones and Donna Slavick, all of Pampa, Jana Dutton of Colleyville, and Suzanne Dunlap of Amarillo. 10 Great-Grandchildren, 12 Great-Great-Grandchildren, 5 Great-Great-Great-Grandchildren. <br><br>MEMORIALS: Crown of Texas Hospice, 1000 S. Jefferson, Amarillo, Texas 79101.
