SERVICES: 2:00 PM Saturday at Carmichael-Whatley Colonial Chapel with Dr. Randy White, pastor of First Baptist Church, officiating.<br><br>BURIAL: Elmhurst Cemetery in Guymon, Oklahoma under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors of Pampa. <br><br>BIOGRAPHY: Mrs. Skaggs was born May 1, 1908 at the family homestead in a dugout, in the community of Eva, Texas County, Oklahoma. She attended Center School and grew to adulthood in the Eva-Four Corners area. She worked at the telephone office, which only had 5 telephone circuits to Elkhart, Kansas and Texhoma, Oklahoma. The office was located in Scott Hargrove's store. In 1939, she also worked for Jim & Ruby Jordan in their store at Four Corners in the Oklahoma Panhandle. In the early 1940's, she worked in the Wheat Belt Cafe in Guymon, Oklahoma, where she met the love of her life, Clifton Skaggs. She married Harry Clifton Skaggs on July 21, 1941 in Cheyenne, Oklahoma at the First Christian Church of Christ rectory. They enjoyed 61 years and 7 months of wonderful married life together, having lived many places including Guymon, Oklahoma, Perryton, Shamrock, and Pampa to name a few. After retirement, Pampa had been their permanent home. She was a proud loving wife and mother with numerous talents and interests. She knitted, crocheted and tatted many beautiful items for her family and friends. She had been a longtime member of the First Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, and a sister, Coral Hazel.<br><br>SURVIVORS: Husband: Harry C. Skaggs of the home. 2 Sons & Daughters-in-Law: Rodney & Artalee Skaggs of Yucaipa, California, and Roger & Velma McCoun of Amarillo. 5 Grandchildren: Rhonda Cavalletto and her husband Don of Paso Robles, California, Jay Skaggs and Robin Carlton and her husband Bill, all of Yucaipa, California, Kelly McCoun of Abilene, and Chris & Dawn McCoun of Carrollton. 10 Great-Grandchildren: Carl, Craig, Andy, Cerra and Cayla Cavalletto, Jed Skaggs, Jake & Jamie Carlton, David & Haley McCoun. <br><br>MEMORIALS: First Baptist Church, 203 N.
