Loving, pastor, officiating.<br><br>BURIAL: Memory Gardens Cemetery under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.<br><br>BIOGRAPHY: Mr. Bailey was born April 13, 1921 in Southmayd, Texas. He had been a lifelong resident of Pampa, graduating from Pampa High School in 1939. He married Rachel Ray Barnett on June 3, 1958 in Pampa. She preceded him in death on May 22, 2001. He retired from Santa Fe Railroad as an engineer in 1985. He was a HAM operator, and his call numbers were W5EZT. He was a veteran of the U. S. Army, serving with the 37th Division in the Philippines during World War II. He was a member of the Santa Fe UT Union, and was a member of the First Christian Church.<br><br>SURVIVORS: 3 Sons: Raymond Bailey of Leadville, Colorado, Levi Bailey, III of Lafayette, Louisiana, and Brent Bailey of Duncanville. 5 Daughters: Dianne Widener of Moore, Oklahoma, Joyce Hadley and Helen Barnett, both of Pampa, Debrah Taylor of Kaw City, Oklahoma, and Charlene Williams of Denver, Colorado. 4 Brothers: Carl Bailey of Lubbock, Eddie Bailey of Fritch, Roy Bailey of Amarillo, and Ray Bailey of Stinnett. 16 Grandchildren, 5 Great-Grandchildren.<br><br>MEMORIALS: First Christian Church Roof Fund, 1633 N.
