BIOGRAPHY: Mr. Staus was born June 17, 1995 in Pampa and was a 1973 graduate of Pampa High School. He received B. S. and M. S. degrees in agronomy from Texas Tech University where he played football for the Red Raider football team. He worked as a sales representative in the chemical industry for many years. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Lubbock where he was active as a youth sponsor. <br><br>SURVIVORS: 1 Son: Cody Lynn Staus of Dallas. 1 Stepdaughter: Channa Pierce of Dallas. Mother & Stepfather: Romona Staus & Claude Schmatjen of Pampa. 2 Sisters: Kelle Staus of Pampa and Troi Staus of Del City, Oklahoma. 1 Brother: Jimmy Staus of Duncan, South Carolina. Special Friends: David Helms of Pampa and Ami Hill of Lubbock.
