D. C. Conklin

SERVICES: The body was cremated and no services are pending at this time. Arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.<br><br>BIOGRAPHY: Mr. Conklin was born September 8, 1930 in Graham, Texas. He was a 1948 graduate of Pampa High School. He spent most of his life in Plainview, moving there in 1953. He was a self-employed pipeline engineer. He was a veteran of the U. S. Navy. He was preceded in death by a son, Wendell Conklin in 1971. <br><br>SURVIVORS: 2 Sons: Derrell D. Conklin of Pampa, and Brad R. Conklin of Las Vegas, Nevada. 1 Brother: Bill Conklin of Lubbock. 2 Sisters: Mary Lee Osborne of Pampa, and Barbara Chambers of Hawkins. 1 Granddaughter.
