SERVICES: 2:00 PM Saturday, December 7, 2002, at Carmichael-Whatley Colonial Chapel, with Glen Walton, minister of the Bell Avenue Church of Christ of Amarillo, officiating.<br><br>BURIAL: Fairview Cemetery under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors. <br><br>BIOGRAPHY: Mrs. Phipps was born December 5, 1938 in Childress, graduating from Childress High School. She had been a resident of Pampa since 1979, moving from Amarillo. She was a member of the Mary Ellen & Harvester Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Michelle Phipps on November 23, 2001, and a sister, Louise Cannon. <br><br>SURVIVORS: Mother: Fay Weatherbee of Pampa. 1 Brother: Bill Weatherbee of Pampa. 3 Sisters: Eva Todd of Childress, Pearl Taylor of Silver City, New Mexico, and Jeanette Caines of El Paso.
