SERVICES: 2:00 PM Friday, November 15, 2002, at Carmichael-Whatley Colonial Chapel in Pampa, Texas, with Rev. Paul David James, officiating.<br><br>BURIAL: Fairview Cemetery in Pampa, under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.<br><br>BIOGRAPHY: Mrs. James was born January 27, 1908 in McKinney, Texas. She married Guy W. James in March of 1924 at McKinney. He preceded her in death in 1958. She had been a resident of Pampa since 1931, moving to Long Beach, California in 1960, and to Tulsa, Oklahoma in 1971. She was a licensed practical nurse at Highland General Hospital in Pampa from the early 1950's until 1960. While living in Tulsa, she was a private duty nurse at University Village where she sewed for the residents. She also worked with the volunteer corps at the City of Faith Hospital in Tulsa. Her hobby was growing roses.<br><br>SURVIVORS: 2 Daughters: Patricia McClintock and Joyce Hatchett, both of Tulsa, Oklahoma. 2 Sons: Gene James of Pampa, Texas, and Paul David James of Camas, Washington. 22 Grandchildren, 40 Great-Grandchildren, and 17 Great-Great-Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by 2 sons, G. W. James in May of 1996, and Billy Walden James in August of 1955.<br><br>MEMORIALS: Gideons International, 2200 W. 7th Ave., Amarillo, Texas 79106.
