SERVICES: Graveside services will be at 2:00 PM Saturday, October 26, 2002, at Fairview Cemetery in Pampa, Texas, with Rev. Guadalupe Mayorga, associate pastor of the St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church of Pampa, officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors of Pampa. BIOGRAPHY: Mrs. Barrett was born Minnie Lee Dittmeyer on June 10, 1917 in Gray County, Texas. She was a longtime resident of Pampa, graduating from Pampa High School in 1935. She worked as a telephone operator at the Pampa office of Southwestern Bell Telephone Company. She married Robert M. Barrett, Jr., at the First Christian Church in Pampa. He preceded her in death on October 5, 1985. She was active in the Holy Souls and the St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Churches. She liked to volunteer her time to teach religious classes to the youth, and she supported the Boy Scout program as a Cub Scout den motherSURVIVORS: 1 Son: Richard L. Barrett of The Woodlands. 2 Granddaughters: Stephanie Barrett of Ballwin, Missouri, and Melissa Barrett of The Woodlands. MEMORIALS: The American Heart Association.
