SERVICES: Graveside services will be at 2:00 PM Thursday, Oct. 17, 2002 in Memory Gardens Cemetery with Rev. Jim Teeter, pastor of St. Paul United Methodist Church, officiating. Arrangements are by Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.BIOGRAPHY: Mr. Rush was born on Jan. 29, 1915 in Taylor County, Texas. He had been a resident of Pampa since 1938, moving from Vernon. He was a cowboy at the Hooks Ranch, the Turkey Track Ranch, the Osborne Ranch, and the Ingrum Ranch, retiring in 1962.He then worked for Heaton Cattle Co. from 1962 until retiring in 1980. He was a member of St. Paul United Methodist Church. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Mildred, in 1972, and his second wife, JoAnn, in 1997.SURVIVORS: 1 brother: T. J. Rush of Vernon and several nieces, cousins, and 1 aunt.
