SERVICES: 2:00 PM, Tuesday, October 15, 2002 at the First United Methodist Church in White DeerBURIAL: will be at Fairview Cemetery in Pampa, under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors of PampaBIOGRAPHY: Mrs. Brooks was born February 11, 1901 in Sparta, Illinois. She graduated from West Texas Normal College in 1926 and taught school in McLean for 3 years. She married Horace Brooks in 1926. He preceded her in death in 1973. She moved to White Deer in 1953 from McLean, and moved to Levelland in 1996. She was a homemaker and a very active member of the First United Methodist Church of White Deer. She was preceded in death by a son, Jack Brooks in 1998, and a daughter, Beth Jordan Perkins in 2001SURVIVORS: 1 Daughter: Kathryn Harder of Levelland. 8 Grand-children, 11 Great-Grandchildren, 2 Great-Great-GrandchildrenMEMORIALS: To a favorite charity.
