SERVICES: 10:00 AM Monday, October 14, 2002, at the Carmichael-Whatley Colonial Chapel, with Rev. Rick Parnell, associate pastor of the Central Baptist Church, officiating. BURIAL: Memory Gardens Cemetery under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral DirectorsBIOGRAPHY: Mrs. Chisum was born July 16, 1917 in Munday, Texas, to Johnny & Mary Wickesser. Her grandfather, Henry Wickesser, was a pioneer of Roberts County. She graduated from school in Miami, Texas, and married Archie (A. W.) Chisum on May 23, 1935. They lived in Lefors for many years before moving to Pampa. Mr. Chisum preceded her in death on January 22, 1982. She was a member of the Central Baptist Church. She worked at the Copper Kitchen in Pampa for 20 years, and was a devoted wife, mother and GrannySURVIVORS: 2 Sons & Daughters-in-Law: Jack & Dorothy Chisum, and Warren & Omega Chisum, all of Pampa. 2 Daughters & Sons-in-Law: Gertrude (Trudy) & Barry Weikel of Austin, and Ruth & Jerry Carter of Pampa. 1 Sister: Vivian Locke of Pampa. 10 Grandchildren, 24 Great-Grandchildren, 2 Great-Great-GrandchildrenSPECIAL NOTICE: The family will be at 2120 Lea in Pampa.
