Scott Penrod, pastor, officiatingBURIAL: Fairview Cemetery under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors. BIOGRAPHY: Mr. Morrison was born November 5, 1928 in Wichita, Kansas. He came to Pampa in 1942 from Wichita, Kansas. He was a 1947 graduate of Pampa High School, and received a B.S. degree in animal science from Texas Tech University in 1951. He married Fran Huff on June 10, 1954 in Hemphill County. He was a longtime rancher in Roberts County. He was a 50-year member of the Pampa Masonic Lodge #966 AF & AM, York Rite Bodies, Scottish Rite Bodies and Khiva Temple in Amarillo. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church where he served as president of the Methodist Men as well as serving on the Finance Board. He was a former Roberts County Commissioner, former director of the Production Credit Association, and he served on the Roberts County Soil and Water Conservation Board. He was a current board member of the Texas Tech Division of the Opportunity Plan, Inc. He was an active adult leader in 4-H. He was a veteran of the U. S. Army, serving during the Korean Conflict. SURVIVORS: Wife: Fran of the home. 3 Sons & Daughters-in-Law: Dusty & Kathy Morrison of Hawley, Frank W. & Lynette Morrison of Lubbock, and Jim & Shari Morrison of Pampa. 1 Sister: Barbara Focht of Houston. 4 Grandchildren: Will Morrison of Lubbock, Hannah Morrison of Hawley, Shelly Morrison and Kaylin Morrison, both of Pampa.
