She was raised in Wheeler, Texas by her aunt and uncle, Lucy and Andy Markham. She had been a resident of Pampa since 1948. She married Doyle Keeton on August 28, 1949 in Raton, New Mexico. She was a member of Highland Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by a daughter Joy Lavelle Keeton in March of 1951, 2 brothers and 2 sistersSURVIVORS: Husband: Doyle Keeton of the home; 1 Son: Allan Keeton of Pampa; 1 Daughter: Annette Hahn of Pampa; 1 Sister: Verlyen Carlisle of Lake Havasu City, Arizona; 2 Brothers: Bill Brewer and Gene Brewer, both of Amarillo; 6 Grandchildren & 1 Great Grandson.
