SERVICES: 2:00 PM Friday, September 20, 2002, at the First United Methodist Church, with Pastor Scott Penrod of the First United Methodist Church, and Dr. Edwin Cooley, pastor of the First Presbyterian Church, officiatingBURIAL: Fairview Cemetery under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.<br><br>BIOGRAPHY: Mr. Riphahn was born on January 29, 1932 in Sauk County, Wisconsin. He was a farmer in Haskell County, Kansas from 1955 until 1979. He had been a resident of Pampa since 1980. He married Irvine Dunn in 1987 in Pampa. He was the broker and owner of First Landmark Realty. He was a member of the Pampa Rotary Club and the First United Methodist Church. He was a member and past president of the Pampa Board of Realtors and was a member of the Las Pampas Water Garden & Koi Club. He was a veteran of the U. S. Army, serving during the Korean Conflict. He was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Anna Riphahn in 1986SURVIVORS: Wife: Irvine of the home. 2 Sons: James Riphahn of Montezuma, Kansas, and William Riphahn of Topeka, Kansas. 1 Step-Daughter: Pam Rape of Houston. 1 Step-Son: Pat Mitchell of Houston. 2 Brothers: George Riphahn of Rio, Wisconsin, and John Riphahn of New Berlin Mills, Wisconsin. 5 Grandchildren. MEMORIALS: to a favorite charity.
