SERVICES: Graveside services will be at 10:00 AM Tuesday, September 17, 2002, at Memory Gardens Cemetery in Pampa, Texas, with Rev. Jim Fox pastor of Hillcrest Baptist Church of Amarillo, officiating. Arrangements are by Carmichael-Whatley Funeral DirectorsBIOGRAPHY: Mrs. Dawson was born September 18, 1903 in Duenweg, Missouri. She married Joe Sherman Dawson on June 1, 1918 in Carthage, Missouri. He preceded her in death on September 17, 1973. She was a homemaker and a resident of Skellytown for 50 years before moving to Snyder in October of 1991. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Skellytown, and was a member of the Colonial Hill Baptist Church in Snyder. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Marcella Dawson on April 8, 1938SURVIVORS: Daughter: Melba Gasaway of Snyder. Sister: Hazel Jenkins of Duenweg, Missouri. 1 Grandson: Harold Gasaway of Snyder and 2 Great-Granddaughters: Cherie Gasaway of Pampa and Tanya Gasaway of White Deer
