He had been a longtime resident of Pampa. He was in the construction business. He was a veteran of the U. S. Army, and was a member of the Carpenter's Church. He was preceded in death by 2 nephews, 1 niece, and his father, Farris YoungSURVIVORS: 4 Sons: Allen Young of Dallas, Brennen Young, Cole Young, and D. J. Young, all of Brownfield. Mother: Bonnie Young of Pampa. 2 Sisters: Marilyn Burk of Pampa and Deborah Barnes of Amarillo. 2 Brothers: Mike Young of Lefors and Terry Young of Pampa. 3 Grand-daughters.
