SERVICES: Graveside services will be at 10:00 AM Wednesday, September 4, at Fairview Cemetery, with Rev. Rick Pearson, associate pastor of Calvary Baptist Church, officiating. Military rites will be accorded by the U. S. Army from Fort Hood, Texas. Arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral DirectorsBIOGRAPHY: Born July 20, 1922 in Wood County, Texas. He married Dorothy Helen Bigham on March 15, 1947. He had been a resident of Pampa since 1928. He moved to East Texas for a few years, returning to Pampa in 1940. He worked for Phillips Petroleum in Borger, retiring in 1983 after 36 years of service. He worked for various individuals and companies mowing lawns until 1998. He was a veteran of the U. S. Army Air Corps, serving during World War II. He was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church and the Pampa Masonic Lodge #966 AF & AM. He loved to fish, hunt and ride motorcycles. He never met a stranger and loved being ?Santa.? He was preceded in death by a brother, Byron Kennemer, and his parents, Raymon and Merlie Hinson KennemerSURVIVORS: Wife: Dorothy of the home. 1 Daughter & Son-in-Law: Sandra & David Harvey of Pampa. 1 Grandson: James Harvey of Pampa. 1 Granddaughter: Amy Harvey of Amarillo. 1 Great-Grandson: Russell Harvey of PampaMEMORIALS: Calvary Baptist Church, 900 E. 23rd, Pampa, Texas 79065, or a favorite charity.
