Lewis Ellis, pastor of the First Baptist Church of Lefors, officiatingBURIAL: Memorial Heights Cemetery in Lefors, under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors of PampaBIOGRAPHY: Mr. Wariner was born March 25, 1944 at Gainesville. He had been a resident of Lefors most of his life. He graduated from Lefors High School in 1963 and from Radiology School at Parkland Memorial Hospital in Dallas in 1965. He was in training at that facility and was on duty when President John F. Kennedy was assassinated. He worked in hospitals in Childress, Amarillo, Vernon, Canyon, Duncan, Oklahoma, and Pampa, and worked in clinics for orthopaedic surgeons, Harvey Edwards, M.D, Olivia Morris, D. O., and Mark Cooke, M.D. During his employment at Coronado Hospital in Pampa, he worked weekend emergency room duty. In 1978, he graduated from the Pampa School of Hair Design and worked at Michelle?s Beauty Salon and A Cut Above. He was a radiologist for Family Medical Center for the past five years. He married Mary Watson on June 24, 1977 at the First Baptist Church in Lefors. He was a member of the Texas Society of Radiologic Technology and the First United Methodist Church in Lefors. For many years, he enjoyed gardening and fishing. He was preceded in death by his parents, M. J. & Elsie Wariner, and a brother, Arnold Wariner. SURVIVORS: Wife: Mary of the home. 1 Son & Daughter-in-Law: Jamie & Kittee Wariner of Pampa. 2 Daughters & Sons-in-Law: Lisa & Scott Heider of Lefors, and Melissa (Missy) & Chad Snapp of Pampa. 1 Sister & Brother-in-Law: Bobbye & Joel Combs of Pampa. 2 Brothers & Sisters-in-Law: James & Barbara Wariner, and Jerry & Diana Wariner, all of Liberal, Kansas. 1 Sister-in-Law: Amelia Wariner of San Angelo. 6 Grandsons: Daniel Wariner of the home, Michael Montgomery and Eddie Boaz, both of Lefors, Greg Wariner, Austen Snapp and Caleb Snapp, all of Pampa. 2 Granddaughters: Kylee Wariner and Ashten Snapp, both of Pampa.
