SERVICES: 2:00 PM Sunday at Carmichael-Whatley Colonial Chapel, with Rev. Jim Teeter, pastor of St. Paul's United Methodist Church, officiating. BURIAL: Graveside services will be at 4:30 PM Sunday at Fairview Cemetery in Memphis, under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral DirectorsBIOGRAPHY: Mr. Rich was born August 16, 1912 in Cooper, Texas. He had been a resident of Pampa for approximately 50 years. He owned and operated Rich Automotive Garage, retiring in 1985. He was a veteran of the U. S. Army, serving in central Europe during World War II. During his tour of duty, he obtained the rank of Staff Sgt., and received the American Theater Campaign medal, EAME Campaign medal with 5 bronze stars, Good Conduct medal, Bronze Star, Victory Ribbon, 1 Overseas stripe and 3 Overseas service bars. He was a member of the VFW and the American Legion, and he was a Methodist.?????SURVIVORS: 3 Sisters: Neva Dyer of Pampa, Marie Olivolo of Woodward, Oklahoma, and Betty Cooke of Palestine, and several nieces and nephews.
