Doug DuBose, retired Baptist minister, officiatingBURIAL: Memory Gardens CemeteryBIOGRAPHY: Mrs. Butler was born on Nov. 25, 1918 in Groom. She graduated from Groom High School in 1937 and from Draughn's Business College in Oklahoma City in 1938. While attending Draughn's, she met Everett R. Butler of Marlow, Oklahoma. They married on May 5, 1939 and were lovingly married for 63 years. Following his service in the U. S. Navy during World War II, the couple made their home at Dorchester Cargray Natural Gas Plant at White Deer where Mr. Butler worked for 33 years before retiring to Pampa in 1982. Mrs. Butler worked as a teller at Security Federal Savings & Loan Association in Pampa for 18 years, and she was widely known throughout the area. She was a member of First Baptist Church in PampaSURVIVORS: Husband: Everett Butler of the home; 1 daughter: Eileen Dibble of Bedford; 2 sons: Rickey Butler of Aurora, CO and Chris Butler of League City; 2 sisters: Virginia Vance of Oklahoma City and Cleo Nix of Groom; 1 brother: Orville Franklin of Pampa; 7 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.?????
