He was a lifelong resident of Pampa, graduating from Pampa High School in 1942. He married Doris Wilson on March 21, 1951 in Clayton, New Mexico. He was an accounting supervisor for Transwestern Pipeline, retiring in 1986 with over 23 years of service. He was a veteran of the U. S. Army Air Corps, serving during World War II. He was a member of the VFW and he was a MethodistSURVIVORS: Wife: Doris Y. Rice of the home. Son & Daughter-in-Law: Clay & Beth Rice of Pampa. Daughter: Kymm Murray of Tulsa, Oklahoma. Brother: Otto Pete Rice of Richardson. 4 Grandchildren: Jennifer Muns and Brenden Rice, both of Pampa, Shane Murray and Zac Murray, both of Owasso, Oklahoma. 1 Great-Grandson: Keegan Muns of Pampa.
