She married Calvin William "Willie" Roosevelt Tackett in 1947 in Konawa, Oklahoma. He preceded her in death in 1987. She was a homemaker and a member of Grace Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Pearl Sargent in 1999.
